Perez, a stunning dance singer from Spain, emerged onto the dance music scene back in 1995/1996
under the name K.U. Minerva with the cover "No More I Love You's" . Her debut album "Promesas," contains hit after hit.
"Llorando Por Ti" was an instant success and saw an international release through out Latin America. A English version was also released
in Spain "Crying For You," but is not included on her debut album. Soon after more tracks followed "No Seas Malo" another great
dance track, "Hoy Sin Ti" an instant hit, as well as the rare English version "So Feel Nice." "No Seas Malo" and "Me He Enamorado" followed soon after.
Minerva's sudden success saw fit to be released in the United States finally in 1997, however her album was remixed by DJ Kako and DJ Box, resulting in
stunning dance tracks, a few were renamed, however "Hoy Sin Ti" was was replaced by "Dejame Sonar," which is also the new albums name. The U.S. saw three
radio releases "Llorando Por Ti," "No Seas Malo" and "Dejame Sonar" the lead track, which was also recorded in English "Let Me Dream With You." However
it was only included on the Mexican promo single. Also in 1997, the album "Promesas" was released in Brazil, with the original productions of her songs, not the remixed versions
like in the United States, however "Dejame Sonar" is included as well as a bonus track "Live Is Life" which is not sung by Minerva Perez, but rather than by someone
else with the same name. It is unclear why it is included in the Brazillian release. With great success and the production of music videos for her smash hits, she reemerged back in 1998
with a second album "Abreme Las Puertas." It showcased her brillant vocals on a mixture of ballads and dance tracks. "Abreme Las Puertas" was the lead single followed by,
"No Quiero Que Siga." As time went on Minerva continued to write and produce songs, as well as for other groups like, Sentidos Opuestos, Lizty, Lula Pop. In 2000, her much
anticipated third album "Perdiendo El Control" was released in Mexico with a different softer side of Minerva. "Juntos" was the only dance and first track to hit
the airwaves. The album mostly contains ballads and pop tracks as well as one other stunning dance track "Lagrimas Por Ti," showcasing Minerva's wonderful talent for dance music. Her album
was also released in Spain under the name "Fuera De Control," later that year, but I have yet to see it! She is currently working on future releases.
